I like the arrangement. Only gripe is that the melody sounds a little too similar to the velvet room music from the Persona games, though I'm guessing it wasn't intentional. Still, it's pretty good.

Troisnyx responds:

Never heard the Persona tracks; my influences were Taizé and Margaret Rizza, who did arrangements and melodies like these predating many of the Persona OSTs.

Glad you like the arrangement! Thank you~

Really like the variety of textures and harmonies. Very relaxing ambient sound.

Very unique take on this challenge and I love the synths you used. It has a very nostalgic and atmospheric quality to it that I think works really well for the theme. I do think the drums may need to be turned up more and the synths could be mixed better but I still enjoyed it overall.

I love this. The composition is beautiful and the different sections flow so well together. You really went above and beyond for this challenge so awesome job.

Great track. I really enjoyed the uplifting theme followed by that sudden shift in tone in the second half. Gives an interesting contrast in mood. The strings at the beginning could use some tweaking to make it sound a little more realistic. Otherwise, I love it.

valdamaer responds:

Yeah, if I had the money to afford better strings I would get them, but the BBC Symphony library did it's job! I'm glad you enjoyed, thank you :)

I like the tone and rhythm of your voice as you're speaking. In my opinion, you could narrate videos and presentations very well. I do think the subject matter was a little scattered and confusing though. You mention the speech is about child abuse but it seems to veer off into evolution and how people think without really explaining how those things relate to the core subject. Overall, good work! Just need to smooth out a few edges.

Belthagor responds:

Sorry for this late explanation. I thought it was obvious but maybe I should explain it. What I meant by the evolution part is that, when a child is age 25, they are a fully mature adult, and due to them beginning to decay, they do not make mistakes, because they are fully grown/formed... but may make mistakes when approaching a very old age, which is when people begin behaving similar to children due to extreme decay. But as a young adult, would logically not make many mistakes, and even when they do make an error, it would have some purpose or benefit in another area of importance.

Pretty solid track. Seems to be mixed well and I like the overall melody. I do agree that there could be a bit more variation in the drums. I also think something else could be added at around 1:44 to make things sound a little more interesting. Other than that, I like it a lot.

pichuscute0 responds:

Thank you! Glad you gave this a listen and a review. :) Good to know you agree with the drums thing. That's definitely something I'll take a closer look at with future songs.
